AA Grade BRC Certification achieved by Queenswood

Queenswood Natural Foods, achieve the highest-grade AA BRC certification in January 2021 for their head office and distribution depot in Bridgwater, Somerset.
The BRC (British Retail Consortium) Global Standard for Food Safety was created to ensure supplier compliance. Its aim is to secure retailers’ ability to guarantee the quality and safety of the food products they sell.
The accreditation is internationally recognised across the industry and is one of the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative’s) most recognised certification schemes. Businesses are audited and inspected to ensure they follow set procedures using an effective food safety management system.
Sites with BRC certification B or below will be audited by large companies, but still be appreciated. Whereas, AA grade means the company has met all the legality and safety of its storage and distribution of products.
Receiving this certificate acknowledges the diligence and commitment a business has taken to its safety programmes, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
From Grade B to an AA Grade
The business went from a grade B in December 2019, to an AA grade in January 2021.
